Planning technician

Who are we looking for?

You are the ideal person if you have the following skills:

  • Responsible: rigorous and retail person, must be aware of the level of responsibility involved in carrying out their tasks.
  • Results orientation: Ability to establish concise goals and work with a constant perspective to achieve the proposed objectives. Gets involved in the task and works proactively.
  • Proactive attitude: person open to change and flexible. Identify and manage change to address future needs. Generates new visions and objectives of change.
  • Corporate: understand the company's values and identify with them. Know that the problem is not yours, it belongs to the entire company and affects other departments or structures.
  • Leadership and communication:  Ability to interact with people with the objective of building empathetic relationships. Motivate change and the ability to lead department projects.
  • Pragmatism: Ability to manage situations and make decisions based on efficiency and usefulness, focusing on the results and consequences of their decisions. Prioritize functionality and usefulness over other factors.

Responsibilities you would assume:

  • Data collection, preparation of studies and support within the department.
  • Increase the turnover with adequate profitability under the areas of your responsibility.
  • Develop relationships of trust with key people in the administrations under your responsibility (municipalities).
  • Preparation of technical and economic studies focused on increasing services and/or improving services.
  • Study and evaluation of agreements/contracts with different organizations.
  • Monitoring of the defined plans according to the requirements of the different organizations.

Minimum requirements

  • University training in engineering. Industrial technical engineering/industrial engineering/port/road/canal engineering, geography or similar is highly valued.
  • Valuable postgraduate degree in transportation and mobility.
  • Catalan and Spanish are essential.
  • English is valued (minimum B2).
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel.
  • B license and/or own vehicle.
  • Valuable experience in the public transport/mobility sector.
